The gripping soundtrack score was composed by Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer.Hans Zimmer is considered to be one of the most influential and renowned contemporary score composers, and was named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses, published by The Daily Telegraph in 2007.

Hans Zimmer has received nine Academy Award nominations for his scores for Inception, Sherlock Holmes, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, The Prince of Egypt, As Good As It Gets, The Preacher’s Wife, Rain Man and The Lion King, winning the Oscar for the last. His more recent film credits include Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Kung Fu Panda 2, Rango, Sherlock Holmes 2 and Batman 3: The Dark Knight Rises. He has composed music for over 100 films up to date.
