It is part of the BB Retail Capital group (formerly Brazin), which includes such dynamic retail brands as Diva, Bras N Things, Adairs, and Dusk.
The Sanity Entertainment concept grew out of a recognised market demand for a new type of music store that combined 'street wear' fashions, such as those as seen on the popular music clips, with recorded music products.
The first Sanity Entertainment store opened in 1992 in Doncaster, Melbourne. Since then the brand has expanded to include Virgin Megastores, Virgin at Myer and HMV and together the three brands deliver awesome in-store and online customer service experiences.
