Rastanthology II: The Sequel album by Steel Pulse was released Oct 31, 2006 on the United States of Distribution label. From its formation in the mid-1970's in Birmingham, England, Steel Pulse built its international reputation by fusing socially conscious themes with compulsively danceable reggae. This best-of collects tracks recorded throughout the 1980's, 1990's, and early 2000's, displaying both the band's lighter side in a cover of Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl," and its still fully functional political consciousness in 2004's righteous "Blazing Fire" and the Bob Marley-esque "Make Us a Nation."
