Rave Age

French producer-turned-artist Vitalic returns with a fresh assault on the dance world this week, with his smartest collection to date. Rave Age seems to have a number of links and similarities to Vitalic’s previous releases but is considerably less constructed and unique in contrast. However, this doesn’t detract from the artist’s strategic and astute control he has over delivering sounds. The album continues throughout with that European untreated and unrefined techno that stands out against many artists in his category, producing a merge of genres, which include indie, punk and disco, all layered on progressive techno floor fillers.
