The track listing for the highly anticipated SPARKLE: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, has been revealed and will be available for purchase on August 3 through Sony Music Australia. The 11-song soundtrack features recorded performances from the late WHITNEY HOUSTON, as well as tracks from pop superstars JORDIN SPARKS and CEELO GREEN.
‘Celebrate’ is the first single from the Sparkle soundtrack, and is a fun, up-tempo, feel good track featuring Sparks and Houston and produced by R. Kelly. The video for ‘Celebrate’ premiered on VEVO just over a week ago and has already received over 350,000 views. The soundtrack’s second single features Houston’s soul-stirring take on the gospel classic ‘His Eye Is On The Sparrow’. Other tracks include ‘I’m A Man,’ ‘Hooked On Your Love,’ ‘Look Into Your Heart’, and many more.
Sparkle, a remake of the 1976 classic, stars pop superstar Jordin Sparks and the late Whitney Houston and is directed by Salim Akil (Jumping The Broom, Soul Food) and will arrive in Australian cinemas later this year.
