After 5 years of touring, 3 years of writing and a year of recording, Expatriate are finally ready to release their 2nd studio album 'Hyper Hearts‘.
The album features 11 carefully selected tracks from the large collection of demos spanning 3 years of writing.
This new album is the latest step in a career that began with the release of 2 EP‘s, 'Lovers Le Strange‘ and 'Play a Part‘, in 2006. Following the EPs the band recorded their debut album 'In The Midst Of This‘ with producer John Goodmanson at the Robert Lang Studios in Seattle and it debuted at number 38 in the ARIA charts. They were nominated for an ARIA Award for "Best Breakthrough Artist for an album" and graced the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine, being named as "one of the most important new bands".
