WIXIW

Simultaneously the most accessible, and most challenging, release from these art / indie/ noise/ experi-mental/ whatever iconoclasts, WIXIW (Wish-you) is unlike anything in Liars‘ repertoire – which is pretty much business as usual at this stage in their career. WIXIW is actually Liars‘ sixth full-length album as a band, which comprises Australian frontman Angus Andrew and Americans Aaron Hemphill and Julian Gross. WIXIW was recorded in the Los Angeles area. It‘s a personal album, hypnotic at times and with touches of electronics not usually heard on a Liars album. The contribution of Mute founder Daniel Miller in the studio can be heard.
