Andrew Wishart is a 41 year-old singer from the suburban Melbourne Victoria, who against the odds, made it to the recently finished Grand Final of X-Factor Australia; to be placed eventual runner up in the series. The down to earth family man was a crowd and judge favourite for his non-pretentious style and willingness to take on a variety of musical styles without the usual histrionics associated with reality television shows. And while that uniqueness may have enhanced his beginnings in the show, his amazing musical ability, honed over 20 years as performer on the pub & club circuit, entrenched him as a real musical talent who still has plenty to offer. Andrew's debut album, appropriately titled It's Never Too Late, features some of the stellar cover songs he performed on the show including Titanium, Dakota and Burn For You.

"This Much I Know" single

Brimming with conviction, colour and musical charge comes the debut single “This Much I Know” from Australia's own Andrew Wishart.
This Much I Know is a fine example of poignant pop perfection; Wishart's rendition of this well-loved weather-through-the-storm classic is a brave, unflinching effort from the X-Factor contestant.
The track opens with a swell of strings and Wishart's soaring vocals; vocals which are oft-compared to Australian pop heavyweights such as John Farnham, or mentioned in the same breath as Neil Finn. These comparisons are justified by Wishart's deft ability to vocally command full and well-balanced orchestration with emotive patency and clear-yet-earthy diction.
This Much I Know is a song of triumph and resilience; of nursing flinty hope despite the odds. Wishart does not compromise on delivering the conviction and yearning of this stellar track.
