Kiran Ahluwalia's new album is an inspiring step forward in the evolution of an artist who, while firmly rooted in Indian music, is continually embracing sounds and influences from around the world. This multi-award winning artist has embraced her love of Saharan desert blues and collaborated with two Tuareg groups, the legendary Tinariwen and the up and coming group of felloe tribesmen, Terakaft. Produced by Justin Adams the album also features award-winning Ghanian ritti player Juldeh camara and cutting edge New York jazz guitarist, Rez Abassi.
