One boy's quest to become a kung-fu superstar.

Bullied at school where he fails to apply himself, a wayward Indonesian teen sets out to become the disciple of his idol Jackie Chan. Determined to learn kung fu from the master 15 year old Zhang Yishan (working under his real name) sets off for Beijing where it is rumoured Chan is working on a new film project. Along the way Zhang, however meets with misfortune. His quest derailed by a gang of criminals. With the help of some generous strangers Zhang finds the resolve to continue on and learns a few life lessons on the way. Having broken records at the Chinese box office, Jackie Chan: Kung Fu Master is a fabulous family film with a universal message.
