Saturnine

Singer, fiddle player and writer, Jackie Oates is a phenomenon in the UK's exploding folk-pop scene. Still in her 20s, she’s already won two BBC Folk Awards. Originally a member of The Unthanks, she has recently toured with Seth Lakeman and has been newly installed as a member of the all-star Imagined Village. Jackie releases her new studio album 'Saturnine' on the Imagined Village label ECC Records. A testament to her undeniable talent on the cutting edge of English traditional music, the album has a strong connection to her West Country base, drawing on its songs, stories and tunes.
