The first eleven episodes of Season 4 of Packed to the Rafters trace the family's fortunes as they attempt to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of Melissa's death. Strong family bonds ensure that traumitised Ben (HUGH SHERIDAN) receives the warmest support as he returns from a restorative roadtrip and takes his first steps back into the work-force. Slowly he learns to smile again and develps a growing friendship with his new boss's daughter Emma (ZOE CRAMOND).
