The New Pornographers' Dan Bejar presents the latest album under his famed Destroyer moniker - a body of work which includes art-rock masterpieces, "Streethawk: A Seduction" (2001) and "Destroyer's Rubies" (2006). Bejar's staggering discography also includes work with A.C Newman and Neko Case as part Vancouver supergroup, The New Pornographers, and work with Spencer Krug (Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown) and Carey Mercer (Frog Eyes) as part of Swan Lake. "KAPUTT" represents the crowning artistic achievement of the veteran's career to date. 'Kaputt' appropriates the oft-maligned signifiers of the 1970s and 80s - from synthpop (Pet Shop Boys) and glam rock (Roxy Music) to smooth jazz (Kenny G) and adult contemporary (Sade).
