The team from the Department of Social Affairs and Citizenship are back with two hourlong special episodes of award winning political comedy and with even bigger problems to solve. In The Thick of It Special Christmas 2006, Malcolm Tucker is consumed by worries about the Prime Ministers departure date and all of Malcolms machinations start to look decidedly shaky. The Thick of It Special 2007 shows Westminster village now in meltdown after the Prime Ministers shock resignation. As all the various factions begin jockeying for the top jobs, Malcolm Tucker is now fighting to save his political career.
