One of the best horror films of the 1970s has finally been given a long overdue DVD release. Possibly the most frightening movie ever made about mannequins and a classic example that a low budget can be a horror films greatest asset, it begins with one of the most bizarre and frightening openings ever created in a horror film. Director David Schmoeller gets a tour-de-force performance out of The Rifleman Chuck Connors as Slausen, owner of Slausens wax museum, where four unsuspecting young travellers are lured into a very deadly tourist trap.
