Nicole, a sex columnist, has a hard time writing her article for her editor Jackson, about romance and love. His girlfriend doesn’t appreciate the fact that he will leave when ever Nicole requests, so he proves to her that its just work, by making love to her before he leaves. When he arrives at Nicole’s house, she tells him she is disillusioned about romance, because she heard from her friend Sara about Jim and Catalina, who were in love, but decided to have a threesome with a hot blonde and afterwards they broke up and the man ended up with the blonde. Nicole has cynical feelings towards love, so Jackson tells her she can write her own article on the cost of love. Nicole interviews a married couple - Mariel, a lawyer and Richard, a therapist. Mariel tells her about her last client who recently divorced her husband and has a great lover now, who satisfies her every need and also tells her about her friend Char, who invited a hot young woman named Amy to join her and her boyfriend, one night in their hot tub. They have great sex, with no strings attached, and their relationship is stronger afterwards. Mariel then takes Nicole aside and makes love to her. They go back to the room with Richard. Jackson drops by, with dinner. Richard tells them about a client who suspected her boyfriend was cheating on her, as he was always working late at the restaurant. Then she found out that the owner was very hot. She went down to the restaurant and caught them having passionate sex, and decided to join them. After hearing all their sexy stories, Nicole decides that maybe love and romance isn’t dead after all.
