Fueled By Ramen recording group The Academy Is… release their eagerly awaited second album “Santi”.
Recorded in Silverlake, California, by the legendary Butch Walker (All-American Rejects, Hot Hot Heat), the 11 tracks on “Santi” show the band exploring previously uncharted sonic territory.
Being named by Rolling Stone as one of the ‘Top Ten Artists To Watch’ in 2006, The Academy Is… were signed to Fueled By Ramen in 2005 at the advice of soon-to-be label-mate Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy).
The band then hit the road hard touring the US with the likes of: Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy and in 2006 performed at the Vans Warped Tour.
"Santi" is the follow up to the band’s 2005 breakthrough debut “Almost Here” and marks a major leap forward for The Academy Is…, both in terms of sonic strength and artistic vision.
