Michael Jackson, Britney Spears... Matt Tilley. So rarely does a child prodigy appear in our midst that it often defies explanation. All of them have the innate capacity to both entertain and annoy at the same time (though it must be admitted in differing proportions) How do we account for the latter? There is genetic recourse. His great, great maternal grandfather was aboard the First Fleet as an 11 year old and not 17 knots from Plymouth began the refrain "Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet" from the rear of the schooner. . Down through the ages the capacity to annoy was born through the family line. Even as far back as Jesus his ancestry links to the disciple Matthew who was heard to remark... "and I can change wine back into water again" during the Last Supper - not funny, just annoying, even then. His father invented the foil tops on airline orange juices. His mother was a notorious double parker who was the first recorded person to assume putting the hazard lights on would make everything alright if she left the vehicle. Thus...Matt Tilley - Cereal Pest was born.

Currently appearing on The Matt and Jo Show on FOX FM in Melbourne, Matt has crafted this haunting and soulful compilation. Wrenching emotions from the deep recesses of his melancholy heart, it is clear he has read too many other recording artist bio's before writing his own. The transformation from breakfast radio host to complete wanker (that ain't no oxymoron!) was complete when he began to write about himself in the third person. Let's just cut to the CD.

Boring Bits
Matt Tilley (that's me) has been working at FOX FM for nearly fifteen years. He has been proudly associated with some of television's shortest run shows and once slept with Cate Blanchett (she was in the bed and I was on the floor)

He is married with three kids, the last two of which spent considerable time in the Intensive Care Unit of the Mercy Hospital for Women. That's why all the proceeds are going to that hospital.
