In lieu of another proper studio record from this Canadian institution, we get Remixed, a beguiling collection of beat-heavy redrawings from some of the biggest players in the dance music industry. DJ Tiesto, Rollo and the venerable William Orbit have their way with a handful of classic Sarah tracks and in the process propel them into completely alien territory. An intriguing proposition; one made even more fitting by the fact that McLachlan s ethereal vocals sound right at home in a sea of fluttering beats.
