Gunshot Dub is a sample mash-up of Dancehall, Ska andBreakbeat styles. Featured on Resin Dog’s second full-length release, thetrack features noted vocalist Spikey T, whose previous work includescollaborations with Rae & Christian, Jah Wobble and Morcheeba.The Dogs have plundered their 60’s jazz and 70’s Jamaican records to cutand paste an upbeat horn-drenched call to the dance floor. The upstroke isin effect and the analog bass is heavy. Features a bevy of versions by DubPistols, Salmonella Dub and Koolism, among others.
