Too Many Miles

“Too Many Miles” is the album I’ve always wanted to make. An album that explores American music from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s without any boundaries. An album that, when listened to while traveling, can keep you company along a desolate road, but also one that can transport you on a virtual road trip just by closing your eyes while listening to it from the comfort of your sofa. There’s some ’50s rockabilly, ’60s truckin’ country, a touch of ’70s “outlaw music,” and much more. I conceived it as an album of songs that would stick in the listener’s head, recorded as authentically as possible: a band in the studio playing live, surrounded by vintage gear.
