English Garden

English Garden, by Bruce Woolley and the Camera Club, is an album steeped in British pop history. It is not only an amazing collection of new wave and power pop songs, but also the start of many fascinating careers. The first eye-catcher is the first recorded version of "Video Killed the Radio Star", written by Bruce Woolley, Trevor Horn and Geoffrey Downes (The Buggles). The album also features none other than Thomas Dolby on keyboards and Matthew Seligman, who played bass in The Soft Boys. After the band broke up in 1983, Bruce Woolley enjoyed an impressive career in songwriting, with his songs being recorded by artists such as Grace Jones, Cher and Donna Summer. English Garden is a limited edition on 180g white-coloured vinyl and includes an insert. Available on coloured vinyl for the first time.
