Violet and Winter are in a "cooling off" period before finalizing their divorce. Winter hopes the time will change Violet's mind, while Violet knows they are only prolonging the inevitable. After learning that Winter's parents conspired to make her think she was pregnant, Violet decides to use this information to her advantage to give Winter the one thing she never could- a title. It will be her final gift to him before their divorce and will clear the debt she feels she still owes.

Winter, however, has his own plot to win Violet's affections, and this time he isn't going to simply throw money at her. Can he prove to Violet that he's a changed man, one who can protect her from his toxic family?
