8 Tracks - Limited Japanese Edition

This officially approved latest best-of album by Pink Floyd marks their first compilation in 15 years since the 2011 release A Foot in the Door: The Best of Pink Floyd and features 8 carefully selected tracks spanning the band's peak progressive rock era from 1971 to 1979, beginning with "One of These Days" from the 1971 album Meddle and concluding with "Comfortably Numb" from the 1979 album The Wall, with the selection focusing on representative and iconic songs from classic albums including The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and Animals, and uniquely including "Pigs on the Wing" in it's complete connected version combining Part 1 and Part 2, the rare mix originally issued on the Animals 8-track cassette and featuring the bridge lead guitar performed by Snowy White, who toured with the band at the time, all presented as a limited production edition with a cardboard sleeve in Japan original specification and including liner notes, full lyrics, and Japanese translations.
