Blue Morpho

Ed O'Brien, the acclaimed guitarist and singer-songwriter known for his time with Radiohead, announces "Blue Morpho", his captivating second solo album and the first under his own name

Named after the iridescent butterfly, 'Blue Morpho' was created during lockdown and recorded at The Church Studio in London and Seven Sound in Wales. The tranquil Welsh landscape proved inspirational and provided a sense of reflection, healing and acceptance.

Musically, the album combines a collage of hypnotic psych-folk, jazz, trip-hop, bright guitars and rhythm sections. "Blue Morpho" marks a new and deeply personal chapter in O'Brien's musical journey.
