Voices Wake Us: Collected Works

“Voices Wake Us (Collected Works)” is a limited edition 12” vinyl release compiling Millpool’s first two EPs — One Last Midnight and Proof Of Life — for the first time. Recorded with Misha Hering (High Vis, IDLES, Powerplant) at Holy Mountain Studios, the collection captures the raw physicality and dynamic live energy at the core of the band’s sound, moving fluidly between angular post-hardcore, freeform improvisation, spoken word and expansive instrumental passages. Drawing influence from Fugazi, No Wave and contemporary experimental jazz, the release documents Millpool’s rapid artistic development while positioning them as one of the UK underground’s most distinctive and uncompromising new voices.
