There is no need to memorize all of the terms because that's not as important as performing the hands-on exercises. Skills are covered extensively so that, instead of learning how to paint a tree, mountains, animal fur, or any individual item, you will gain the skills to paint anything. Everything has a texture, and that is the focus. There is a designated area for taking notes.
