Death Wish

Life. That's all Angie wanted to know--then, as a child, and now, as an adult. But so much has happened in that time, the space between past and present, and she struggles to understand. She's left her home for Death Wish, for clients and exhibitions and their fantasies of Death. But something lingers for Angie, in dream and reality, of where she is and why. Her own Death is not so far away.

"Death Wish" is a story of comprehension, of literacy, and what it means to know the languages spoken, thought, felt, and acted, moment-to-moment. It chronicles the repetitious narratives of the past and their effects on the present and future. As Angie unwinds the truth of her Life and those who came before her, she learns of its beauties and horrors, its truths and deceptions, and its health and disease.
