Silas’s life is spiralling out of control when he receives an invitation from Eve to trek the Tasmanian wilderness, with a disclaimer: It will be cold. Remote. Treacherous. And I cannot guarantee passage home alive. The trek is a sheer vertical climb. In Antarctic conditions. Subject to violent storms. Untamed, unpeopled and dangerous.
