As The Binoculars, Brooklyn's Kaethe Hostetter and Chloë Swanttner welcome you to their proverbial picnic blanket where they peer into melodies new and old using harmony vocalis, violin, guitar, lap steel, and country vocal harmonies. The enchanting duo have played music together since they were kids, singing lovely country style harmonies on their debut album. Double Whammy features covers of songs by the Louvin Brothers, Doc Watson, The Delmore Brothers, The Kershaw Brothers, Lee Hazelwood, and more. They performed an enchanting set at the Brooklyn Folk Festival.
