By the late 1970s, ABBA were a worldwide phenomenon, topping charts across Europe, the Americas and beyond, and defining the sound of an era. This three-CD collection brings together some of ABBA’s finest live performances from 1978-1981, capturing the group at the height of their powers on stage. Drawn from landmark concerts, it celebrates the energy, precision and sheer joy of their live shows, offering a fitting tribute to a band whose music continues to resonate with audiences around the world.
DISC 1 presents ABBA’s final ever live concert, recorded in 1981 for a television special hosted by American broadcaster Dick Cavett. Featuring a concise yet memorable setlist of classic hits alongside songs from their then
forthcoming album The Visitors (1981), the performance offers a poignant farewell, capturing the band in superb
form one last time.
DISC 2 features a standout performance at the Aladdin Theatre in Las Vegas on 24 September 1979, recorded during the group’s celebrated ABBA: The Tour. Widely regarded as one of the strongest shows of the tour, it finds ABBA sounding energised, confident and fully in command of the stage. Bonus tracks here feature from their appearance on the Olivia television special, hosted by Olivia Newton-John, the previous year. Also included are a couple of
interviews recorded for the BBC, first in 1978 for Multi-Coloured Swap Shop and another from 1982 to celebrate the band’s 10th anniversary on The Late, Late Breakfast Show.
Concluding the set, DISC 3 documents ABBA’s full concert at the Milwaukee Auditorium, recorded on the very same tour. Featuring the complete set played on the night, it offers a rare opportunity to hear deeper catalogue selections alongside the hits, making it an invaluable record of the band’s live repertoire and a thrilling experience for fans old and new.

Formed in Stockholm in 1972, ABBA - Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad - rose from local pop contenders to become one of the most successful bands in music history.
Their breakthrough came with the Eurovision Song Contest win in 1974 with ‘Waterloo’, launching a run of global hits that combined irresistible melodies, immaculate production and distinctive vocal harmonies.
