Foregrounding fragments, pauses, and ordinary scenes over success stories, the book introduces borderfoam to describe life amid overlapping educational, legal, familial, and digital borders that never fully settle. Drawing on narrative interviews, autoethnography, and poetic reflection, it follows queer students as they navigate visas, classrooms, family expectations, and online platforms, managing disclosure, aspiration, and survival while mobility reshapes emotional life and belonging.
