Responder Resiliency covers the science and modalities effective in mitigating the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in first responders and their families. Coming from her own experience as a career first responder who battled depression, divorce, and organ cancer, Farren dives into the historical perspective of the first responder industry's reactive approaches which have proven to be less than effective. First responders continue to have shorter life expectancies, and higher indications for divorce, substance abuse, suicide, stroke, heart attacks, and organ cancer than the general public. With this information and the science behind the contributing factors, education, and modalities are offered to assist in Putting PTSD Out of Business.
