When a child's world is falling apart and they lack understanding of the situation, their feeling can manifest in unhealthy ways. After their parents' divorce, Andy and Tina struggle to manage their emotions. Andy, suppressed by grief, becomes lost in his own head, while Tina finds herself angrily lashing out at others.

Jum, Shout, or Spin follows Andy and Tina as they attend psychotherapy. Through play therapy, the two siblings learn to name their feelings, identify where these feelings occur in their bodies, and release them in healthy ways. And while not everything is easy, Andy and Tina are determined to use their new healthy coping strategies to not only manage their feelings but also support each other rather than struggling alone.
