Violet and the Velvets have been practicing hard, but there is tension in the band. Violet is taking it all too seriously and the others are sick of being bossed around by her.

Then they hear their studio recording for the first time. Disaster! The final recording and video is horrible and bland, and they decide to make their own video.

At the BandQuest national finals, the competition is next level. They play the best they can but they know they are not as good as the other bands.
