Mimi has been studying hard at university and dreams about becoming a famous artist. Life as a student is hectic! She is always running late, falling over, or sketching when she should be working. Luckily, her best friend Nahal is great at covering for her. She worries about Mimi. It seems talented artists are going missing, and Nahal worries for Mimi's safety. One night, Mimi chases a cheeky cat through the Egyptian exhibition of the art gallery and is magically transported to another world. The sophisticated Curator of the Master Portraits exhibition, Simon Taylor, is there to welcome her. He offers Mimi her dream of becoming famous through her artwork. But this new world is not what it seems. When Rachel Rainer, a legendary artist, hands Mimi a cat to safeguard, she must rely on her instincts, and her friends if she ever wants to see her world again. They must all work together to escape Simon and return to their world while being hunted by an Egyptian goddess, Bastet and her starving children.
