Since his retirement in 2010, Dr. Philip Lehman's morning devotions have frequently included writing short stories that are based on his daily scriptures, interactions, and recent events, allowing him to bring biblical values and lessons into his daily life in short, relatable stories. Since his writing journey began, he has been sharing his stories with close friends, family, and a list of people via email. It's those recipients who encouraged Philip to publish his stories, which are now known as "Philables." He gains inspiration from sermons, daily interactions, comments, and current events. However, he is sure to avoid politics and cultural concerns, instead focusing on lessons of contemplation and bringing scripture into daily life.
