In November 1969, the Rolling Stones embarked on their first US tour in three years. The lineup had changed, with Mick Taylor stepping in for founding member Brian Jones. Gone were the brief sets of Top Ten hits played to screaming teenagers; in their place was a 75-minute rock spectacle showcasing the band’s new albums, Beggar’s Banquet and Let It Bleed, complete with groundbreaking lighting and staging.

Led by the Glimmer Twins, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, the Stones blazed across America on a 24-date tour. The essence of this tour is immortalized in the live album Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out, widely considered one of the greatest live rock albums ever made.
