For his new photo book Homo Mobilis, photographer Martin Roemers travelled the world armed with a large white backdrop, a camera, and one simple question: Would you pose with your vehicle for me? The result is an eye-opening collection of images that raises pressing questions about our current global society. What about the environmental impact of our addiction to oil and engines? but also: Does your choice of vehicle express something about your identity?
