At eighteen he moved to Turin, studying creative writing at Scuola Holden. He published his first book, Questo sangue masticato (Bloodines) in 2024. Part novel, part family documentary, it traces the life and career of his grandfather, a minor player in the underworld of post-war Naples who became notorious for the killing of a well-known camorra boss.
