Hazel can never find anywhere to store her nuts! Every year, bigger squirrels raid all the nuts that she hides up high, greedy foxes and badgers dig up all the nuts she hides down below and crafty jay birds spy her secret spots and steal everything she hides in between. Growing desperate, Hazel starts hiding her nuts closer and closer to humans. That doesn't work either! But Hazel's luck changes when a couple of concerned humans, charmed by her persistence and imagination, make it their mission to give Hazel her most successful year yet.
