I should have walked away. I should have ignored that sweet-talking cowboy. Good things don't happen to people like me. Good people stay away from people like me.

But that cowboy wouldn't leave me alone.

That girl was trouble. I knew it from the moment I laid eyes on her bruised knuckles in the bar.

The last thing I expected was for her to show up on the ranch and bring that trouble to my front door.
