A rare recording of Clifford Jordan in his final years, recorded from the late 80's to 1990 at the home and studio of Pierre Sprey, the founder and engineer of Maple Shade Records! The great jazz legend recorded this rare jam session with Julian Priest, Larry Willis and other close musicians in a very relaxed performance including improvisation! The album contains gems of slow blues and ballads such as Gershwin's "Embraceable You" (M1), Mal Waldron's "Soul Eyes" (M5), and "Jug's Groove" (M4), an original song dedicated to legendary Chicago saxophonist Gene Ammons.
