AUTHOR: Patrik Björk is a freelance historian with a background as a part-time infantry and signals officer. He has experience from the Swedish Armed Forces and NATO, holds a MSc degree from Linköping University and has tactical and strategic military diplomas from the Infantry Officers' College and the Swedish Defence University.
