The rural areas of Estonia and Latvia are characterised by numerous manor houses. In the past decades, a few of them have been renovated, but the majority of them have fallen into disrepair. Just as memory often consists of in part factual, in part fictitious lines of vision, her perspective is also a poetic, magical one.
