He wrote Erik Carlsson's obituary for the Daily Telegraph and has written three books on Saab and began this book, his museum odyssey, at the Saab Museum in Trollhattan. Lance initially trained in car design and motoring journalism. He has also worked as a foreign correspondent, PR, campaigner, researcher, and broadcaster. Lance has repaired and driven classic cars as far afield as East Africa, the Australian outback, and America; he has also undertaken new model development driving for car makers.
