Filippo Giorgi is an international expert in climate modelling, climate change and their effects on the planet and society. From 2002 to 2008 he was Deputy Director of Working Group I for the Intergovernmental Committee on Climate Change, which, in 2007, won a tie with al Gore for the Nobel Peace Prize.
