Botanical Beauty contains more than thirty designs on the theme of plants and flowers. A wide range of subjects are included, such as classic roses, bright red poppies, colourful sunflowers, delicate floral bouquets, and bolder, more contemporary tropical flowers and foliage. The designs display a rich variety of colours and shading and Susan's love of detail. There are simple designs for the beginner and more challenging projects for the more experienced stitcher. AUTHOR: Susan Bates has created designs for large department stores in London that sold designer hand knitting yarns and patterns. She has also created cross stitch designs for other publishing companies in England, trained to be an art teacher, and has taught knitting and sewing classes to adults. She lives in Brighton, England.
