Introducing Anthony Lewis

One simple song planted music into the mind of a young Anthony Lewis. After performing his rendition of R. Kelly's "Sade" at a school talent show at the age of twelve, Anthony Lewis knew what he was going to do for the rest of his life. His path took him to a singing group he helped form called Ju-taun, which toured and supported acts such as LL Cool J, Ashanti, Atlantic Starr, and Lyfe Jennings. Following high school, Anthony studied music in college, focusing on theory, history, and performance. Anthony found the genesis of his love for music in his father, Gil Lewis, who played the Hammond B-3 in jazz groups. Throughout his life, Anthony heard the warm sounds of the organ and piano, and translated that love into learning the instruments with the same dedication and drive his father showed him.
