Trioing

Nearly ten years since it's original release in 2002, the reissue of Trioing documents the meeting of three young jazz voices who would go on to become major influences in their field. Jonathan Kreisberg was the leader on a session featuring drum phenomena Ari Hoenig (who became a respected leader in his own right, with several discs featuring Kreisberg as well). Completing the trio was Johannes Weidenmueller, a bassist known for his beautiful tone and melodic sense, as well as his ability to make complex ideas feel organic and natural.
